Soren Butler Announces Signing of Brooklynne Weatherford

Four top-rated shooters to join the program in the fall

STATESBORO - Georgia Southern head rifle coach Soren Butler announced Monday an addition to an already-impressive group of shooters who comprise his first recruiting class as a head coach as the Eagles will welcome Brooklynne Weatherford (Bartow, Fla.) to Georgia Southern this fall. She joins Bremen Butler (Fort Wayne, Ind.), Ella Goldfaden (Bat Hefer, Israel) and Zahra González Mazo (Logroño, Spain) who were announced last semester.

"We're excited to welcome Brooklynne to Statesboro," Butler said. "We think she'll bring a strong work ethic, great attitude, and add to an already strong incoming class."
