BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Scovia Ayikoru broke the school record in the 400, andÂ
Devine Parker won the 60-meter dash as the Georgia Southern track and field team competed at the Samford Bulldog Open Saturday at the Birmingham CrossPlex.
Parker's time of 7.50 in the 60-meter dash is second on the program's all-time list, and Ayikoru took second in the 400Â with a school-record time of 54.43.
Kennedy Hood posted the school's fifth-best mark in the long jump (5.92) and finished second.
NaJ Watson took fifth in the 60-meter dash (7.63), and
Sofia Molina finished fourth in the 400 (57.62).
Nichole Harris placed fourth in the 800, while
Na'ilah Moore finished fourth in the long jump (5.74) and the triple jump (11.98).
