STATESBORO - Georgia Southern men's golf coach Carter Collins announced the signing of three high school golfers on Wednesday. The group, which consists of, in alphabetical order, Pierce Adamson (Atlanta), Thomas Horne (Fayetteville, North Carolina) and Elijah Zamarron (Sunrise, Florida) will join the program as freshmen in fall of 2024.

"First of all, I want to thank the families of each recruit for allowing their sons to choose Georgia Southern," Collins said. "This is a special place and it just became more special with the addition of Thomas, Pierce and Elijah. I also want to thank our assistant coach, Daniel Castles, for his help in the recruitment of these players. We are ecstatic with this class and cannot wait for these three to begin their careers in Statesboro. Each one brings an elite resume, higher ceiling and strong reputation for working hard. This class has potential to be a transformative class, we cannot wait to get started with them!
