Schedule features two home meets and three trips to Florida

STATESBORO – Georgia Southern track and field has released its spring schedule, which features two home meets and three separate trips to Florida.

The Eagles will kick off the spring season down in Orlando at Central Florida for the UCF Black and Gold Invite, which takes place Mar. 15-16.

Following that, the Eagles return home for the Southern Relays from Mar. 22-23, the first of two home meets during the spring campaign.

A trip to Gainesville is in the cards the following week as the Eagles compete in the Florida Relays from Mar. 29-30 on the campus of the University of Florida.

The team's final home meet is on Apr. 6, playing host to the Georgia Showdown, and to wrap up the season, GS will head down to Jacksonville for the East Coast Relays, where they will compete from Apr. 26-27.

Finally, the Sun Belt Outdoor Championships are in New Orleans from May 9-11, where the Eagles will hope to earn a berth in the NCAA Preliminary Round.
