STATESBORO – Georgia Southern returns to action at the Gamecock Invitational April 16 at the Sheila and Morris Cregger Track.

Admission is free, and events begin at 9 a.m.

It's the second outdoor meet in Columbia for the Eagles. Georgia Southern competed at the Weems Baskin Invitational at South Carolina March 26, where the Eagles recorded eight top-10 finishes.

Following the weekend, Georgia Southern is scheduled to compete in the Georgia Tech Invitational April 22-23.
