Georgia Southern welcomes UAB to SSEC
STATESBORO - The 18th-ranked Georgia Southern rifle concludes its regular season Saturday, hosting the No. 20 UAB Saturday. Call to the line with prep and sighters begin at 8 a.m. with action starting at 8:30 at the Shooting Sport Education Center. Admission is free.

Both squads will have five counters participating in both the USA Shooting 60-shot 3x20 small bore and 60-shot air rifle disciplines. The top four scores from both disciplines are used to determine the scores.
Additionally, the Eagles will compete against the VMI women's squad virtually as their match was postponed earlier this season due to Covid protocols. VMI will compete at West Virginia, but the results will count in the SoCon standings, where the Eagles currently stand at 6-0, 11-5 overall.
For the Eagles, eight shooters will toe the line: Erin Ballard, Bella Gamez, Kinsley Hannon, Lillian Herring, Ashley Judson, Anna Mayo, Gabby Morrow and Amy Visconti.
The Eagles are coming off a program-record with a 4,625 against North Georgia and Wofford.
