Quotables from Coach Chad Willis
"What a battle! I'm just really proud of our group for staying the course and competing all the way through. We didn't always have the cleanest of stretches, but we stayed dialed into the game plan and executed in some key moments. First contact and our physicality at the net was strong all night, and we'll need a repeat of that tomorrow."
Next up
The Eagles close the regular season by hosting Troy again tomorrow at 1 p.m. on Senior Day. GS will honor seniors Baylor Bumford, Meredith Eckard, Abby Strong and manager Khloe Henderson along with Jarome and Underwood prior to the match.
