MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Isabel Ptacek and
Isabel Clayton ran personal bests, and four Eagles finished in the top-6 as the Georgia Southern cross country team opened the season by winning the GMC Brickyard Friday evening.
Ptacek took third and finished in 20:01.39, while Clayton posted a time of 22:30.01. A trio of freshmen made their collegiate debuts and placed 4, 5 and 6 for the Eagles.
Ella Zierdt finished fourth (20:03.39),
Katie Ranck took fifth (20:17.55) and
Reese Connelly placed sixth (20:33.07)
