NORMAN, Okla. – Georgia Southern baseball dropped the series finale against Oklahoma on Sunday X-X to fall to 24-15 on the year.
Jordan Jackson was pegged with the loss, working three and two-thirds innings, allowing five runs on nine hits.Â

The Eagles jumped out to an early 2-0 lead, when
Noah Ledford grounded out to third to score
Steven Curry.
Austin Thompson followed him with a single through the left side to score
Mason McWhorter. Oklahoma would respond in the bottom half with a run of their own to cut the deficit to one.Â

In the second GS would tack on two more runs as
Steven Curry recorded his 100
th RBI on a single to left field to score
Parker Biederer and
Jason Swan. Oklahoma would go on to score the next 13 runs to take the finale 14-4.

GS will return home to open up a four-game home stand. Tuesday's game against Jacksonville University is scheduled for 6 p.m. from J.I Clements Stadium.
