The Eagles travel back to Jacksonville for the UNF Collegiate March 8-9 at the Jacksonville Golf and Country Club. It's the Eagles' third straight appearance in the event.

Georgia Southern is coming off a second-place finish at the Strutter Gus Invitational, its home tournament. Four Eagles finished in the top-20, led by Alberte Thuesen, who tied for second. Sarah Noonan, who played as an individual, tied for eighth, and Abby Newton tied for 12th. Ella Ofstedahl tied for 17th.

Ofstedahl picked up her third career win at the Mercer Invitational to cap the fall and has finished
in the top-10 in six of her last 11 collegiate events. She has eight top-5, 12 top-10 and 20 top-20 career finishes. Ofstedahl is playing a fifth season after the NCAA granted an extra year of eligibility to all spring sport student-athletes because of COVID-19.

Thuesen, who posted four top-10 finishes last season, is back for the spring. The sophomore tied for 11th at the First Coast Classic to open the spring before tying for second at the Strutter Gus Invitational.

Ofstedahl makes her 35th career start for the Eagles, while Newton will make her fourth consecutive starts. Noonan will be in the lineup for the 25th time in her career, and Bell makes her 10th career start. Thuesen plays in the lineup for the ninth time in her career.

The Eagles tee off hole 12 in a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.

Following the event, the Eagles travel to the Red Rocks Invitational March 20-21 at Oak Creek Golf Club in Sedona, Arizona.
