CHARLESTON, S.C. - Georgia Southern men's tennis secured its first two wins of the season this past weekend, sweeping The Citadel and USC Sumter after matches in Tallahassee, Florida, were canceled due to the coronavirus inside the Florida State program.
Georgia Southern picked up its first victory of the year on Saturday morning, defeating The Citadel 7-0, before winning the afternoon cap against USC Sumter 7-0 to improve to 2-1 on the season. The Eagles will now host Presbyterian and Stetson this weekend at the Wallis Tennis Center. First serve on Friday is scheduled for 2:30 p.m., while Sunday is scheduled for noon.
