Eleven Student-Athletes Receive Stoles Prior to Graduation Ceremony

STATESBORO – Georgia Southern Athletics honored 11 expected graduating student-athletes with a special stole ceremony Thursday evening in the Bishop Field House. The Athletic Department handed out stoles that will be used to signify student-athletes at next week's Georgia Southern University commencement ceremony at Paulson Stadium where at least one member of six GS athletics teams will walk across the stage.
Two of the student-athletes also received rings signifying that they will be graduating with at least a 3.0 grade point average (GPA). Those two were Anthony Beck II (FB) and Faith Shirley (SB).
