STATESBORO - The Georgia Southern softball team used a 12-run fourth inning to rally for a 13-2 victory in five innings over Monmouth Saturday night on the second day of the Eagle Round Robin.
Trailing 2-1, the Eagles sent 15 batters to the plate and forced two pitching changes, high to roar back for the victory. The highlights of the inning included a two-run double from
Bailee Wilson and a two-run double from
Ellington Day.

At the plate, the Eagles exploded for 12 hits, led by Day, Creamer and Wilson with two apiece. Also picking up hits were Gunter, Freeman, Shirley, Booth, Mullis and Smith.
