CONWAY, S.C. – Anett Nemeth collected 15 kills, 14 digs and three blocks to lead Coastal Carolina to a 3-0 (25-18, 25-14, 25-19) Sun Belt Conference volleyball victory over Georgia Southern Thursday evening in the HTC Center.

Mya Wilson hit .435 for the Eagles (2-6, 2-6) and posted a team-high 11 kills, while
Chamblee Russell collected eight kills, seven digs and a block.

Coastal Carolina posted nine blocks and 48 digs to hold the Eagles to .047 hitting in the match. The Chants (12-0, 12-0) did not trail in the match until the Eagles led 1-0 in the third set.

The Eagles and Chants were tied 13-13 in the first, but Coastal Carolina won nine of the next 12 points to open a 21-15 cushion. GS trailed 11-5 in the third but rallied behind three kills from Russell to trim the margin to 12-9. Coastal responded with a 5-2 run and then leading 19-15, won four straight points for a 23-15 advantage.
