
Georgia Southern Volleyball Matches vs. Troy and Appalachian State Postponed

STATESBORO – Out of an abundance of caution, Georgia Southern has postponed its next two volleyball series vs. Troy and Appalachian State due to COVID-19 close contact tracing.
The Eagles were scheduled to play host to Troy for three matches Oct. 9-10 and Appalachian State for three matches Oct. 16-17. Georgia Department of Health guidelines state that close contacts who have been identified through contact tracing are required to quarantine for 14 days.
The school will try to reschedule all six matches later this season.
Georgia Southern is slated to travel to South Alabama for a three-match set, starting Friday, Oct. 23.
