STATESBORO, Ga. - During the winter months, Georgia Southern University alumni, fans and friends can always find excitement in Hanner Fieldhouse cheering on Georgia Southern Basketball. New to 2020, men's basketball fans are encouraged to be a guest of the Athletic Foundation at the 6th Man Social for an enhanced game day experience that includes complimentary hors d'oeuvres, beverages and Eagle merriment.
The pregame social provides fans an opportunity to network with Eagle Fund members, meet Georgia Southern Athletics staff and enjoy the facilities. Located in Hanner Fieldhouse, the 6th Man Social offers complimentary light appetizers and beverages for guests in attendance and opens one hour before tip-off. Beverages are available again during halftime. Kicking off at the home contest against Georgia State, limited single-game passes to the 6th Man Social are available for the following upcoming Men's Basketball games:
- Saturday, Jan. 25 (Georgia State)
- Saturday, Feb. 1 (South Alabama)
- Thursday, Feb. 13 (Coastal Carolina)
- Saturday, Feb. 15 (Appalachian State)
- Tuesday, March 3 (Arkansas State)

Passes, which are based on availability, are $25 and $15 for children ages four through 12. On game day, prices increase to $30 for adults and $20 for children. Guests must be ages 21 and older with a valid ID to consume alcoholic beverages. Food and drink may not leave the 6th Man Social's designated area.
Guests interested in purchasing passes to the 6th Man Social should visit GSEagles.com/Tickets. Passes will be delivered via email as a print-at-home ticket; each pass admits one person into the event. Upon entry, guests are required to show their pass, game ticket and ID (if applicable). The pass will then be scanned, deemed invalid for re-use for that game and guests will be wristbanded for age verification and/or re-entry. Game tickets are not included.
During the basketball season, Eagle Fund members that annually contribute at the Bronze Eagle level ($1,200) or higher and are men's basketball season ticket holders receive complimentary 6th Man Social passes for each home game. These events are the Athletic Foundation's way of saying 'thank you' for supporting Athletics' mission of Rings, Diplomas & Leaders.
All sales are final, no refunds or exchanges. Ticket/pass prices include sales tax, but not processing/shipping fees. Ticketed events adhere to the
Clear Bag Policy.
