WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Mason Williams led the Georgia Southern men's golf team with a 68 in the final round of the Old Town Club Collegiate Tuesday, and the Eagles finished ninth in the team standings.
Just eight strokes separated 5th-10th as the Eagles finished a shot ahead of Augusta and a stroke behind Rutgers. Colin Bowles carded a 73 today to finish tied for 16th, and Ben Carr tied for 29th.
Williams shot 1-under on the front with birdies at holes 2 and 4 and had a clean back nine with a birdie at 10. Carr played the front even with a birdie at 4 en route to posting a 72, and Bowles finished the tournament with seven consecutive pars.
