STATESBORO – Georgia Southern Swimming & Diving has earned Scholar All-America Team status from the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA) for the Spring 2019 Semester, the organization announced today.
The Eagles were one of a record 480 institutions to earn a spot on the list. Georgia Southern carried a 3.54 GPA for the Spring 2019 semester. This is the sixth straight semester that the Eagles have earned the honor from the CSCAA and the 13th semester out of the last 14, dating back to 2012. Eight Eagles carried perfect 4.0 GPAs this Spring, while 14 had 3.50 GPAs or higher.
CSCAA Executive Director Greg Earhart noted: "Coach Amanda Caldwell had a great deal to live up to in her first year, and this shows she's up to the challenge."
