Georgia Southern snapped a three game winning streak while the Warhawks earned their first win in league play after seven-straight defeats. SCORING INNINGS
TOP 1st | GS 1 - ULM 0 | Nolan Tressler scored the game's first run in the first inning off a Mason McWhorter single to center, giving the good guys an early 1-0 lead.
BOT 2nd | GS 1 - ULM 1 | ULM tied the game up with a leadoff home run in the second inning, leveling the game at 1-1.
BOT 4th | GS 1 - ULM 3 | A two run home run in the fourth inning that rode the winds out of the park gave ULM its first lead of the series at 3-1.
TOP 7th | GS 2 - ULM 3 | The Eagles reduced the lead to one in the top of the seventh, converting a two out Steven Curry walk into a run thanks to a Nolan Tressler double and a wild pitch that bounced to the backstop.
BOT 7th | GS 2 - ULM 4 | ULM answered in the bottom of the seventh with a run of their own, playing small ball after a leadoff double, plating the run off a sacrifice fly to left.

NOTES
- Starting pitcher Braden Hays was effective, working six innings and allowing three runs, off six hits. He posted his second quality start, but was shackled with the loss to fall to 1-3 on the year.
- Nolan Tressler had a 2-for-4 day at the plate, extending his team-best hit streak to 13-straight games.
- Georgia Southern stranded nine runners on base in the game and hit into a pair of inning ending double plays.
- Mason McWhorter had a two hit game, extending his hit streak to 12-straight contests.
- All seven hits for the Eagles came from the top five batters in the Eagle lineup.
