Georgia Southern caps the regular season by playing a home and home series against Georgia State. The Eagles play host to the Panthers Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. on ESPN+ and travel to Atlanta for a 6:30 p.m. contest Friday.

A half point is on the line in each match in the Southern vs. State Rivalry Series, which Southern currently leads 2-1. Both teams are mathematically eliminated from earning a bid to the Sun Belt Conference Tournament.

Both teams are coming off 0-2 weekends as both squads fell to Coastal Carolina and Appalachian State. Georgia State leads the all-time series 20-12 and has won three of the last four. Southern won the last meeting 3-1 in Hanner last Nov. 8, in the last match of the season.

Madison Brown ranks sixth in the Sun Belt in assists (9.00 per set), and Landon Jones ranks fifth in digs (4.30 per set). Baylor Bumford ranks 10th in hitting percentage (.286), GS ranks sixth in digs as a team (15.02 per set) and sixth in blocks (1.88 per set).
