The Eagles play for the second straight week as they travel to the Jacksonville Classic. It's the third straight season the Eagles have played in the tournament and one of three trips to Jacksonville this season.
GS opened the season at the Furman Invite last week and finished 13th. Ella Ofstedahl tied for 20th, and Ansley Bowman tied for 26th. Natalie Petersen shot a 2-under 70 in the final round, the lowest of the weekend for the Eagles.
Bowman makes her 30th start for the Eagles, Ofstedahl makes her 17th and Petersen is in the lineup for the 13th time. Freshmen Emma Bell, Savanah Satterfield and Kaysie Harrelson make their collegiate debut for the Eagles, and Harrelson will play as an individual.
Following the competition, the Eagles have a couple weeks off before heading to the Terrier Intercollegiate Oct. 29-30.
