Quickly: Georgia Southern men's soccer returns home on Tuesday to host Florida Atlantic in a non-conference contest at Eagle Field. The Eagles (3-4-1) are looking to snap a slide of four losses out of their last five and will try to do so against the Owls (2-5), who have themselves lost two straight. GS leads the overall series between the two teams, 4-3-1, and won the most recent meeting - a 5-4 victory on Sept. 12, 2014, in Statesboro.

Quickly: After completing a nearly 1400 mile long road trip, the Georgia Southern women's soccer program heads home for a four match home stand inside the friendly confines of Eagle Field. The Eagles currently post a 2-2-0 record in conference play and will be looking to collect as many points as possible this weekend to move up the standings.

Quickly: Georgia Southern is 27-8 on Homecoming in the modern era, but has lost its past two (Louisiana in 2016 and New Mexico State last year) … In the four previous games between the two squads, GS has outscored South Alabama by a combined 159-32 (39.7-8 avg.) with South Alabama having yet to top the 20-point mark against the Georgia Southern defense … Georgia Southern won 28-6 in 2014 in Mobile, 55-17 in 2015 in Statesboro, 24-9 in 2016 in Mobile and 52-0 last year in Statesboro … The 2014 game was the first Sun Belt Conference contest in GS football history and was the first of eight league wins for the Eagles en route to a 2014 conference title and perfect league record … In the four contests, the Eagles have run for 1,484 yards on just 239 carries (6.2 YPC) … Eighteen of 21 Eagle scores have come on the ground, as well.

The Bison (1-4-3) and the Eagles met last season in Statesboro, with Georgia Southern claiming a 4-2 victory, but the overall series is tied 2-2. Howard won the last meeting in D.C. against the Eagles, 2-0. Victor Guirma (4 goals) leads the Bison offensively in 2018.
