Georgia Southern has faced the Blue Hose once previously, picking up a 66-35 win on Dec. 20, 2007. More than 2,000 elementary and middle school students are expected for the contest, which features an in-state matchup for the second straight year ... Coastal Georgia, an NAIA school out of Brunswick, is 8-5 and this will be considered an exhibition contest for the Mariners ... Coastal Georgia has played one other Division I school this season, dropping a 95-46 decision at Georgia Tech on Nov. 4.
