STATESBORO, Ga. - Tulane University Swimming & Diving picked up a 210-90 dual meet victory over host Georgia Southern on Saturday at the RAC in the Eagles' final home meet of the 2018 calendar year.

Bre Stuart - who were honored in a pre-meet ceremony.
"I'm really proud of our seniors," Georgia Southern Head Coach
Amanda Caldwell said. "Going through three coaches, they've hung in there. They chose to come back and give it another whirl for one more year. I really appreciate the energy and the cameraderie they bring to the program."
The meet saw the Green Wave, who are ranked No. 12 in the latest CollegeSwimming.com mid-major rankings, claim 14 of the 16 events on the day. The strongest swim for the Eagles came in the 50 Freestyle, where sophomore
Mackenzie Brown (24.11) and senior
Morgan Fleming (24.31) finished 1-2.Â
Sophomore
Katie Knight also continued her strong fall on the boards, as she captured the 3 Meter Diving event with a score of 242.55. She also paced the Eagles in the 1 Meter Diving event by finishing second with a score of 247.95.

"I was really happy with how we raced today," Caldwell said. "It was a lot better than Campbell. I saw some technical things pop out that looked a lot better. Making connections, things are clicking. Our two-hundreds were a little bit stronger, and the mile was good to get in and do in a dual meet, they've never done that before. That was a nice little challenge to have them coming away and feeling confident."
Georgia Southern will be next in action on November 16-18, traveling to Lynchburg, Va., for the Liberty Invitational.
