Georgia Southern used strong relay swims and diving to pick up the dual meet victory. The Eagles bookended the competition with wins in both relays, winning the 200 Medley Relay in a time of 1:47.22 from the team Anna Moers, Bre Stuart, Jessica Ware and Mackenzie Brown, then closing out the meet with a win in the 400 Freestyle Relay in a time of 3:35.35 from the team of Courtney Schaefer, Rachel Pelzek, Melissa Cox and Anna Moers.

The Eagles also shined in the 100 Backstroke, placing 1-2 with Mackenzie Brown (58.56) and Anna Moers (58.77).
"I thought they were great," Georgia Southern Head Coach Amanda Caldwell said in her post-meet comments. "There was a lot of energy, a lot of excitement and we had way better support for each other. I asked them to get out of their comfort zone and really race the front ends of races. A lot of them did it and were surprised at the results. There was a lot of not being able to finish races, getting out-touched a couple of times, and it made them mad, which is good. We're in a hard phase of training right now and they understand that, so it just makes them hungry for later."
