QUOTE FROM COACH JOHN MURPHY
"I want to congratulate Georgia State, they deserved to win tonight. Their efforts over the 90 minutes were quite good and their energy was stronger than ours. But I also want to congratulate my team, not only for their efforts tonight – they did everything they could to try and win the game, it just wasn't a normal performance for us where we were just a little off – but also the effort throughout the entire season. I think we really showed people how good of a group we are and what the possibilities are for this program. We took some fantastic teams as close as you can take them and also beat some very good teams along the way. There is plenty to be positive about moving forward. I want to thank our three seniors, Chris MacMurray, Aidan Reising and Jeremy Rector for their efforts. They were magnificent for this program and we look forward to them entering the next stage of their lives as alumni and supporting our program in that manner. They will always be a part of our soccer family."
