STATESBORO, Ga.- For the second competition of the season, the Georgia Southern women's tennis match came down to the wire, but this time, the Eagles were on the opposite end losing 3-4 to SCAD on Saturday.

The Bees were able to pick up the 1-0 lead early by winning two out of three doubles matches. However, Georgia Southern was able to bring it to a 2-all match when No.2
Mariana Ranzahuer and No. 5
Emilia Bujan picked up points for the Eagles to counter Camille Gbaguidi's win over No.1
Giulia Riepe.

In the end, it came to a close match between Karina Rovira of SCAD and Eagles'
Lindsay Truscott. The three-set match was eventually awarded to Rovira who was able to clinch the 4-3 team win.
