STATESBORO, Ga. – A week removed from winning the Lipscomb Invitational Championship, Georgia Southern Men's Soccer travels to North Florida on Sunday night at 7 p.m. The Eagles picked up a win and a draw last weekend and garnered Sun Belt Offensive and Defensive Student-Athlete of the Week honors.

LAST MATCHGeorgia Southern hung four goals in a 4-1 victory over Belmont to close the Lipscomb Invitational.
Nick Wells scored twice to secure Sun Belt Offensive Student-Athlete of the Week honors while two more late goals preserved the win. Freshman
Emil Laursen was solid in defense for Georgia Southern and claimed the Sun Belt Defensive Student-Athlete of the Week award.
SCOUTING NORTH FLORIDANorth Florida enters Sunday's match at 3-5-0 on the season while being outscored 21-13 in the seasons' first eight matches. The Ospreys are 1-1 against the Sun Belt this year with a win over Appalachian State and a loss to Georgia State. Other wins for UNF include triumphs over UNCG and UCF.
Milan Kovacs, Helge Pietschmann and Alex Morrell each have two goals to lead the Ospreys in scoring. Simen Solstad has four assists to go along with one goal to rank as the squad's top scorer.
SERIES HISTORYThe Eagles are 5-4-1 all-time against North Florida as the series returns to the schedule for the first time since 2012. The Eagles fell 4-3 to UNF last time out, but have won three-straight matches at Hodges Stadium in Jacksonville.
NEXT UPLeague play starts for Georgia Southern on October 9th as the Eagles visit Hartwick. The league season kicks off in a rematch of the 2014 Sun Belt Championship game at 7 p.m.in Oneonta, N.Y.
