Promotions Set for Softball Weekend Series vs. Troy

Admission is free to all three games at Eagle Field
STATESBORO, GA. – Georgia Southern Softball returns to the friendly confines this weekend for a three-game series against Troy. The first 100 fans to bring a roster card from the Blue-White Spring Game to the marketing table at softball will receive a GATA t-shirt.
The weekend series begins on Saturday with a doubleheader at 3 p.m. Georgia Southern and Troy will return to Eagle Field at Noon on Sunday for the weekend finale.
T-shirts will be thrown into the stands after each strikeout, while someone with a lucky program will win a prize. This weekend also features the continuation of "Softball Survivor." In the first inning, six fans will place their names in a box with one being removed each inning. The final name removed from the box will win a special prize from Georgia Southern Athletics.
