Georgia Southern plays its home finale against UT Arlington in Hanner Fieldhouse Thursday.

It's the second of two meetings against UT Arlington this season and the second contest against the Mavs in the history of the series. UTA won the first contest 64-52 Dec. 30 in Arlington in the first Sun Belt game for the Eagles.

The Eagles have lost their last 14 and are coming off a 62-35 loss at UL Lafayette Saturday.

Six of the Eagles' last 14 games have been one-possession contests at the under-4 media timeout, and two have gone into overtime.

Georgia Southern is 1-11 on the road and 1-8 in road league games. The Eagles are 2-11 at home and 0-9 in home league games.

UT Arlington has lost its last two and is coming off a 48-38 home setback to UALR Saturday. The Mavs are 6-2 in their last eight overall.
