
Georgia Southern Golf Pro-Am Set for April 27

STATESBORO, Ga. - Attracting more than 100 participants, The Crawford, the annual Pro-Am Golf Tournament to benefit the Georgia Southern golf team, will be held Monday, April 27, at Forest Heights Country Club in Statesboro. The event includes a full round of golf with a professional golfer, dinner and live and silent auctions.
Named after longtime Georgia Southern golf supporter, Gene Crawford (1933-2014), the annual tournament provides an opportunity for alumni, friends, businesses and the community to help support Eagle Golf, with proceeds to benefit the program. The individual entry fee is $200 and four different sponsorship levels are also available. The Georgia Southern Pro-Am is open to all interested individuals. Georgia Southern golf is holding an alumni event that weekend, and many former Eagles are expected to stay in town for Monday's Pro-Am.
Each team will consist of four players and a professional playing in a scramble format. Participation in the event includes: green fee and cart, Georgia Southern dry-fit golf shirt, raffle entry, dinner and refreshments, awards for the winning teams and the opportunity to meet the Eagle golf team. All entry fees and contributions are tax deductible within IRS restrictions. Four different sponsorship levels are also available.

11:30 a.m.-12:45 p.m. - Registration
1:00 p.m. - Shotgun start (scramble format)
5:30 p.m. - Dinner and awards ceremony along with a silent and live auction
