Griffin Named Sun Belt Player of the Week by CSM

STATESBORO, Ga. – Senior catcher Chase Griffin was named the Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week by College Sports Madness on Tuesday.

Chase Griffin tallied two hits in all three games against the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats and started his senior season off by hitting .429 with two RBI and a double. Griffin scored twice and drove in a run in Saturday's 12-8 win over the Wildcats. The senior singled in the eighth inning and doubled in a run in the second inning in Sunday's 9-8 victory. Griffin closed out Friday's game with back-to-back hits.
