Georgia Southern caps a five-game homestand against Arkansas State Thursday in Hanner Fieldhouse.

It's the second of two meetings against the Red Wolves. Arkansas State topped Georgia Southern 86-63 in Jonesboro Jan. 8.

The Eagles have lost their last eight and are coming off a 58-50 loss to ULM Saturday.

The Eagles are in a stretch in which they play seven of eight contests at home.

Georgia Southern is 2-8 at home and 0-4 in home Sun Belt games. The Eagles played six of their first eight Sun Belt games on the road. Georgia Southern is 1-8 on the road and 1-5 in road league games.

Arkansas State, which is second in the league standings, has won its last four and is coming off a 91-72 home win over Troy Saturday.

The Red Wolves are 7-6 on the road and 5-2 in road league games.

Player of the Year candidate Aundrea Gamble leads the Red Wolves in scoring with 19.3 points a game, and three other Red Wolves are averaging double-figure scoring.
