More Records Fall for Eagle Rifle at North Georgia

Rosemary Kramer claims the Small Bore and Aggregate school records
DAHLONEGA, Ga. – Georgia Southern Rifle closed the first half of the 2015-16 season with four school records and six personal records. Rosemary Kramer set a new personal best on the .22 en route to a new personal best aggregate score. Emmy Johnson shot her best score on the small bore rifle while Courtney Weekley scored personal bests on both disciplines. The team tied its small bore school record and posted a new aggregate record to improve its national standing. The Eagles next competition will be on January 23rd in Charleston.

- Despite shooting an outstanding series of 570 on the air rifle, Rosemary Kramer was still 10 points shy of the school record set by Tori Lewis in September of 2014.
- Rosemary Kramer delivered her second perfect relay of the season, scoring 100 points in her first 10 shots from the prone position on the small bore. Her previous perfect relay came in the season opener on paper targets at Georgia Military with the air rifle.
- Making just her second appearance of the season, Courtney Weekly scored 1,070 to eclipse her previous best aggregate score by 39 points.

"I'm really proud of the girls. Their hard work is paying off and it is showing in their competition scores. We have had at least one girls shoot a personal record at every tournament so far this year. We've got a couple months break, but it will give us time to continue improving."
