BOONE, N.C. – The 2015 Georgia Southern Men's Soccer season came to an end as Georgia State eliminated the Eagles from the Sun Belt Tournament in penalty kicks. The Eagles scored three first half goals, but the Panthers equalized just after the hour mark. After 110 minutes of play, the match was recorded a draw, but the Panthers claimed a spot in the Sun Belt Tournament Final with a 5-4 win in penalty kicks.

Adam Abdellaoui who scored his third goal in the last week to put the Eagles up 1-0. A quick run down the center of the Panther defense and a close-range strike gave the Eagles their earliest goal of the year.

Eric Dinka doubled the Georgia Southern advantage with an exceptional left-footed strike in the box. He used a Maradona-level spin move to earn space and struck the ball for his fourth of the season.

Chase Park was given the honors from 12 yards following a Georgia State handball in the box. The senior captain buried the shot to extend the Georgia Southern advantage to 3-0.
43' – GAST – PENALTY – Following a foul by goalkeeper
Jack Falle, Georgia State converted a spot kick of their own to cut the Eagle lead to 3-1. Eddie Wilding did the damage just before the halftime break.
54' – GAST – Rashid Alarape finishes a ball from Wilding to cut the Eagle advantage to 3-2.
64' – GAST – Casey Shultis leveled the score at 3-3 when he redirected a free kick in the penalty box.
