WHAT COACH KEVIN KENNEDY SAID"It was a tale of two performances today for us. You had the first two minutes when we got the goal and the eighty eight minutes of defending. I thought App State was terrific on the day and we did just enough to hold on. We weren't at our best, maybe some of that was based on who we had available, but also it was a credit to Appalachian State who made the day very difficult. They caused us a lot of problems and we had a moment of brilliance with Nick (Wells), Christian (Duncan) and Alfonso (Ochoa) there to get the goal."
NEXT UPThe Eagles are back on the road for the next two matches before finishing the regular season at home. A league match at NJIT is set for Friday while a Sunday matinee at LIU Brooklyn closes the road swing. The regular season is set for Nov. 7 as Georgia State comes to Eagle Field.
