Serving It Up• The Eagles opened their spring season with a dominating 6-1 triumph over Alabama State.
• Mercer, who has opened their season with formidable opponents is still searching for their first win of the spring. Their losses, however, have come at the hands of Arkansas, Murray State, and University of Tennessee.
• SCAD will begin their spring season Saturday with a match against Ave Maria University before taking on the Eagles Sunday.
Coach Stanford's Thoughts"This year, we have been lucky enough to play our first three matches of the season on our home courts. Coming off of a great match against Alabama State last weekend, we are looking to keep the momentum heading in the right direction. The team has been very focused in practice this week, and I know they are looking forward to some great competition this weekend."
