Georgia Southern returns home to face UL Lafayette Thursday evening in Hanner Fieldhouse.
It's the first of two meetings against the Ragin' Cajuns this season.
The Eagles are coming off a 67-53 win at South Alabama Saturday. It was the first Sun Belt win in program history.
Georgia Southern is 2-3 at home this season and 0-1 in home Sun Belt games.
Georgia Southern has held four of its last six opponents to under 38 percent shooting from the floor.
Senior Anna Claire Knight, who played in her 100th career game at UT Arlington Dec. 30, has 1,143 career points, 479 rebounds and 157 assists. No player in program history has recorded over 1,000 points, 500 rebounds and 200 assists for their career.
The Ragin' Cajuns are coming off a 68-52 victory over Georgia State Jan. 8.
UL Lafayette is 3-2 on the road and 0-2 in road Sun Belt games.
Jaylyn Gordon leads the Ragin' Cajuns in scoring with 14.3 points a game and has scored 20-plus points in four contests.
Five current Ragin' Cajuns played at St. Thomas More High School in Lafayette.
The Ragin' Cajuns are forcing their opponents into 21.3 turnovers a contest.
UL Lafayette was picked sixth in the Sun Belt Preseason Coaches Poll.
