Season Ticket Delivery Begins with Special Handoff

Season tickets are now on their way to Eagle Nation

STATESBORO, Ga. – Georgia Southern Head Football Coach Willie Fritz made a special delivery Friday afternoon, presenting Dr. Horace Deal and Dr. Kyle Varnadoe with their season tickets for the upcoming 2014 season. The visit took place at Vision Source Professional Eye Care Center of Statesboro, as GUS and the Georgia Southern cheerleaders helped Coach Fritz with the handoff.
"We're doing well with ticket sales this year, sales are up from last year," said Georgia Southern Athletics Ticket Manager John Ramfjord. "We've got a lot of excitement with the reconfiguration of Paulson Stadium and the addition of 6,000 new seats."
Dr. Deal and his wife Caroline, season ticket holders since 2000, will get a new vantage point for the 2014 season as they've moved to the club level on the north side of the stands. Tickets for the new premium area are sold out, but tickets are available in many areas throughout Paulson Stadium including the grass seating on the south side of the stadium.
"We've been waiting to get our tickets ever since the schedule was announced in the spring," said Dr. Deal. "You know when you get your tickets that the countdown is really on and the season is just around the corner."
A limited number of season tickets are still available for as low as $75 each. Fans can reserve their spot to see history by calling the Georgia Southern Athletics Ticket Office at 1-800-GSU-WINS or going to GSEagles.com/fbtix. Single game seats are also now available for all five home games.
