FULL SCHEDULE
STATESBORO – The Georgia Southern Athletics Department and the Sun Belt Conference announced Friday the Eagles' 2026 football schedule and promotions schedule. It is a slate that features six home Saturday games, the first P4 program to play in Statesboro and a nationally-televised Thursday night road game.
The Eagles will open the 2026 season with their four non-conference games, as they did the previous four years. They start at home on Sept. 5 against Charleston Southern and then head to Clemson for a game at Death Valley on Sept. 12. The Eagles play again on the road the following week, traveling to Jax State on Sept. 19 and then return to Allen E. Paulson Stadium/Evans Family Field on Sept. 26 against Houston to wrap up the non-conference slate.
Georgia Southern opens up Sun Belt play with a Oct. 3 road game at Coastal Carolina before hosting defending Sun Belt Champ and CFP participant James Madison on Oct. 10. A quick turnaround is up next as the Eagles travel to Old Dominion on Oct. 15 for a Thursday night tilt in Norfolk before having their bye week on Oct. 24.
October action wraps up with a game in Paulson Stadium against rival on Oct. 31 and then the final month of the regular season starts on Nov. 7 at home against Marshall. A pair of road games follows, first at Georgia State on Nov. 14 and then at Troy on Nov. 21. Senior Day will be on Nov. 28 against Louisiana Tech for the regular season finale.
Season ticket holders only have a few weeks to renew their season tickets and/or parking before the April 30 renewal deadline. Renewals must be paid in full or set up on a payment plan by the renewal deadline, or they will be released to the general public.
