STATESBORO, Ga.- Georgia Southern women's tennis hosts Wofford this afternoon at 3pm at the Wallis Tennis Center. This is the Eagles' last home match and Senior Day. There will be a short ceremony prior to the match to recognize the seniors (
Paola Garrido and
Caitlin Kitchen) for their contributions to the program.
In the SoCon, the Eagles currently hold a 3-5 record and 9-10 overall. Last time out, the Eagles dropped to nationally ranked Furman, 1-6. At No. 5 singles, freshman
Giulia Riepe defeated Kelly Sullivan, 6-3, 6-1.
The Wofford Terriers are 5-13 overall, with a 1-7 SoCon record. Most recently, the Terriers fell to Appalachian State, 2-5.
