Women's Tennis Faces Davidson and Akron

STATESBORO, GA.
- Georgia Southern women's tennis hosts Davidson College on Saturday, March 22 at 12pm, and University of Akron on Monday, March 24th at 3:30pm. Both matches will be held at the Wallis Tennis Center.

The Eagles head into Saturday's match with a 6-9 overall record and a 2-4 SoCon record. Last time out, GSU fell to Massachusetts, 1-6. Senior Paola Garrido earned the lone win for the Eagles, beating Yuliana Motyl, 6-4, 6-4. The Eagles were unable to clinch any more points for the match.

Davidson enters the match with a 6-5 overall record and are 1-3 in the SoCon. The Wildcats faced #73 Samford on Sunday, March 16th, and lost 1-6.

The Akron Zips hold a 9-6 overall record, and are scheduled to face Toledo, Eastern Michigan, and Savannah State before battling the Eagles on Monday, March 25th.
