Women’s Soccer Achieves Academic Excellence in 2013

This fall, the Eagles had a team GPA of 3.4 . Overall, 27 players posted GPA's above a 3.0, including 7 players who were named to the Dean's List (GPA of 3.5-3.99). Not only is their team GPA above average, but 8 Eagles achieved perfect 4.0's for the fall semester. The Georgia Southern Women's Soccer Team was awarded with the NSCAA Team Academic Award for 2013.
"We are very proud of our student-athletes for their commitment and dedication to their academics," said head coach Brian Dunleavy. "They have worked very hard to reach such a high standard, and in doing so, they have showcased our well rounded program in an exemplary manner."
