ORLANDO, FL.- Georgia Southern women's tennis was defeated by University of Central Florida yesterday afternoon, 5-2. The Eagles record drops to 3-2, although they hope to be 4-2 after their match against Bethune-Cookman today at 12pm.
In singles play,
Jordana Klein defeated Courtney Griffith 6-2, 7-6, (9-7). The Eagles were unable to secure any more singles wins, however
Giulia Riepe and
Paola Garrido were victorious against Sofia Baptista and Cortney Cesarini (8-6) in doubles competition.
Stephanie Woods and
Jordana Klein earned a win versus Clare Mendell and Annika Hepp (8-4).
