ORLANDO, FL.- Georgia Southern women's tennis heads south to face University of Central Florida on Friday, February 14
th and Bethune-Cookman University on Saturday, February 15
th. The Eagles hold a 3-1 record on the season. The BCU Wildcats are 2-4, and the UCF Knights are 2-2.
"The team is looking forward to more non-conference opponents this weekend," said head coach Amy Bonner. "We are looking to improve each week and continue to come together as a team so that we are in a good place when Southern Conference action comes into play. This weekend is great preparation for us and I hope we can use every bit of our time competing in a positive way."
Last time out, the Eagles fell to #21 Auburn, 0-7.
Paola Garrido played #98 Emily Flickinger and was defeated 6-2, 6-2. GSU remained winless throughout the singles bracket and played some tough matches in doubles, but were unable to take a win from the Auburn Tigers.
