Georgia Southern plays host to Toccoa Falls Saturday at noon in a doubleheader with the Eagle men's team, which faces South Carolina State after.
Fans can watch the action at Hanner Fieldhouse for just $5 by presenting their football ticket to the Georgia Southern vs. ULM game at the door.
It's the first meeting between Georgia Southern and Toccoa Falls on the hardwood.
It's the Eagles' first regular-season game against a non-Division I opponent during head coach Chris Vozab's tenure. The game came about because a Division I opponent dropped off the Eagles' schedule late in the summer.
The Eagles return eight letterwinners and three starters from last season's squad. Three of the top-5 scorers and rebounders are back for Georgia Southern.
Senior Anna Claire Knight was named to the Preseason All-Sun Belt Team in the coaches poll, and the Eagles were picked to finish 10th.
Knight and junior Briana Jones were named Preseason All-Sun Belt by College Sports Madness.
Knight has 1,056 career points, 435 rebounds and 143 assists. No player in program history has recorded over 1,000 points, 500 rebounds and 200 assists for their career.
Georgia Southern is coming off a 93-52 loss at No. 22 Georgia Tuesday.
Toccoa Falls enters the game with a 4-6 record and is coming off a 64-50 home win over Wesleyan College last Monday.
Mallorie Collum led the Screaming Eagles with 15 points in that contest, and Katie Calloway collected nine points, 14 rebounds and two blocked shots.
Alana Jones leads Toccoa Falls in scoring and assists with 14 points and 3.1 helpers a contest.
Calloway averages 8.5 points and 9.9 rebounds, and Cassidy Lang averages 11.3 points.
