Eagles In Top Ten After Two Rounds

Tampa, Fla. - The Georgia Southern golf team is in seventh place after the first two rounds of the Gary Koch Invitational. After day one, North Florida leads the Field after shooting 559 (-17). The Ospreys lead both rounds of the day.
Behind the Ospreys are: Georgia Tech in second (-3), Virginia in third (+1), Alabama fourth (+2), Auburn fifth (+4), Florida State sixth (+7), Georgia Southern seventh (+8), Florida eighth (+10), Pacific ninth (+18), South Florida tenth (+20), UNCG eleventh (+25), Wake Forest 12th (+28), Toledo and College of Charleston tied at 13th (+33) and Kentucky 15th (+34).
The Eagles shot 295 in the first round and 289 in the second, putting them at 584 (+8) on the day.
Blake Olson (Pensacola, Fla.) leads the Eagles as he sits tied for fifth (-3). Olson shot 141 on the day. Will Evans (McDonough, Ga.) is tied for 23rd after shooting 146 (+2). Scott Wolfes (St. Simons Island, Ga.) is tied for 32nd (+4), Hayden Anderson (Knoxville, Tenn.) is tied for 39th (+5) and Lewis Gruber (Tallahassee, Fla.) is tied for 70th (+14) to round out the scoring for the Eagles.
Playing individually Zach Hartman (St. Simons Island, Ga.) is tied for 48th (+8).
Play will resume at Old Memorial Golf Club at 7:45 Sunday morning.
