Eagles Face North Dakota State in Semifinal Rematch

STATESBORO, Ga. - After a 49-35 quarterfinal victory over Old Dominion, the Georgia Southern Eagles advance to the FCS Semifinals to face North Dakota State Friday, Dec. 14 at 8 p.m. The contest will air live from the Fargodome in Fargo, N.D., on ESPN2.

Tickets are available through the Georgia Southern Ticket Office for $32. The ticket office will begin taking orders at 9 a.m. on Monday in person or over the phone by calling 1-800-GSU-WINS.

For the second-straight week Georgia Southern (10-3) will face a team they played in last year's semifinal playoff run. The Eagles are 45-12 all-time and 12-9 away from Statesboro in FCS Playoff games.

The defending FCS National Champions, North Dakota State (12-1) won both of the all-time meetings between the two schools. In last year's semifinal game the Bison won 35-7 behind 314 rushing yards, while Dominique Swope nearly ran for 100 yards and scored GSU's lone touchdown.

The Eagles will play on Friday for the first time and will play just their fourth non-Saturday game in school history.
