Mierzejewski shot a 33 on the back nine after posting four straight birdies on holes 11 through 14. Martin had four birdies on the back nine and finished strong, posting birdies on the last three holes.
"The team battled back after a bit of a rough start to post a good round in tough, windy conditions," said Georgia Southern coach Larry Mays. "Scott had a tremendous round, and Charlie and Matt also had good back 9s."
