Contract of Women's Soccer Coach Ashley Hart Not Renewed

STATESBORO, Ga. - Georgia Southern Athletics announced today (November 4) that the contract of Georgia Southern Head Women's Soccer Coach Ashley Hart will not be renewed. Hart completed her seventh year as head coach in 2010.
The Women's Soccer team qualified for the Southern Conference tournament only twice in the last seven seasons, in 2004 and 2007. Georgia Southern missed the Southern Conference tournament field this year, finishing with a 5-12-1 overall record and 2-8-1 mark in conference play.
A national search to find a replacement will begin immediately.
